Myob Premier 7.5

Compete with up to 20 friends in increasingly bizarre contests on foreign planets.

“Drink More Glurp” is set on a distant world where aliens have copied Earth’s summer games. As everybody knows, sport events are all about paid sponsorships. So, naturally, there a lot of sponsors for this event, and the whole competition is very much influenced by them. Even the name of the game is an ad for a fictional company.

In each contest you take control of a circular alien with two arms, each controlled by one analog stick on your gamepad. This makes it very difficult to play in a competent way, especially because the activities and your abilities change depending on the sponsor.

Since it’s a turn-based game, you can invite a ridiculous amount of friends (up to 20 to be exact) and you only ever need a single controller. “Drink More Glurp” is a wacky party game with a lot of humor. Even years later, this is one of our favorite couch co-op games. You should definitely try it—and you should also try Glurp, of course!

Why you should play it:

  • Because of the silly physics, it’s a lot of fun to watch your friends fail.
  • The game can be played with only one controller (Pass & Play).
  • With a ton of possible event and sponsor combinations every round is (slightly) different.

In an era of "Software as a Service" (SaaS), it might seem unusual that some companies still look for or maintain MYOB Premier 7.5. There are several practical reasons for this:

MYOB Premier 7.5 is a powerful, multiuser accounting software package designed for businesses with more complex operational needs than a basic accounting system could support. It was part of the classic MYOB Premier line, serving as a stepping stone for growing enterprises that needed features like advanced inventory management, foreign currency handling, and more robust financial reporting without investing in a full-scale ERP system.

: Built-in multi-user network locks allowing simultaneous data entry into a shared company file across local area networks (LAN). Keeping financial records on a local hard drive

For enterprises still utilizing MYOB Premier 7.5, upgrading or migrating is a critical step toward ensuring operational continuity. Modern alternatives include upgrading to the latest desktop versions of ABSS (Asian Business Software Solutions, the developers who took over the MYOB South-East Asia product line) or migrating to modern cloud platforms like Xero, QuickBooks Online, or MYOB Business. These contemporary platforms offer automated bank feeds, robust cloud security, and full compliance with current regional tax regulations.
